In più occasioni l’ematoma è guardato dall’ar- tista come presenza ‘spettrale’, residuo visivo di un passato già trascorso e della memoria di un contatto tra il corpo umano e gli oggetti. Questa lettura poetica coincide con una ricer- ca sulla conformazione dei lividi, nel tentativo di restituire il loro carattere effimero: nell’opera Strappi l’artista riproduce la presenza di ema- tomi partendo dalla matrice di un tappeto in lana, i cui filamenti colorati sono trattenuti dalla colla del nastro adesivo e ricomposti in opere bidimensionali.
On several occasions, the artist has seen hae- matoma as a “spectral” presence, a visual res- idue of a past that has already passed and the memory of a contact between the human body and objects. This poetic reading coincides with a research into how bruises are formed, in an attempt to capture their ephemeral character. In the work Strappi, the artist reproduces the pres- ence of haematoma,s starting from the basis of a woollen carpet, whose coloured filaments are held together by the glue of sticky tape and reas- sembled in two-dimensional works.
